Schubert/Liszt Serenade for Smaller Hands - after Vladimir Horowitz

This edition of Liszt’s transcription of Schubert’s Serenade is made from my Urtext-based yellow edition transcribed for smaller hands. It was modified further to reflect the changes that Vladimir Horowitz made for his legendary recording of this piece. He recorded this piece only once — the year he died. It may well be the last recording he ever made, and it is considered definitive by many. This volume contains none of the scholarly material of my other editions. It is a player’s edition only, with a few special performance notes.

This was originally intended as a Private edition solely for my own use, but I am now making it available to the public. I have not made a similar edition from my standard Urtext edition of this piece, and currently have no plans to do so.
